Abstract

This study aims to examine the changing roles of men and women within households in modern society. Social, economic, and cultural transformations have influenced the traditional division of roles between husbands and wives, leading to new household dynamics. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved in-depth interviews with married couples from diverse urban backgrounds. The findings reveal a growing flexibility in gender roles within the home; men are increasingly participating in domestic chores and childrearing, while women contribute to economic activities. These shifts are driven by factors such as education, employment, and growing awareness of gender equality.
