Pengaruh Gadget Pada Perilaku Anak Usia Dini di Panton Labu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence or impact of gadget use on Early Childhood (AUD) which is increasingly worrying in the Panton Labu area. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research participants were parents who have AUD. The findings of this study show that parents play an important role in giving gadgets to AUDs and different parents have different reasons why gadgets should be given to their children, some of the reasons include parents' busyness, fussy children, and that children can learn from the applications in the gadget. Secondly, the impact of using gadgets for too long and without supervision from parents has changed the behaviour and emotions of AUD, such as the emergence of deviant behaviour of AUD, called sometimes angry because they have interrupted their playtime with gadgets, children begin to be addicted if they are not given gadgets, they will get angry or cry, and they are not interested in the surrounding environment. Third, in handling and prevention, the role of parents and the surrounding community is needed, some things that can be done are always spending time playing and communicating with children, controlling and limiting the time of gadget use in children, inviting children to recognize peers, and providing early childhood education to children
