The main objective of this study is to analyse how ICT integration affects teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Using qualitative research methods, data were collected through teacher interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of learning documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of ICT-based learning media at MAN 1 East Aceh has enriched students' learning experiences through access to more interactive and varied open materials. This contributes to increased student engagement and a deeper understanding of the material. On the other hand, challenges such as limited infrastructure and the need for teacher training were also identified as barriers to ICT implementation. This study concludes that despite these challenges, the use of ICT has significant potential to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, with the caveat that solutions to existing barriers must be implemented effectively to maximise the benefits of technology in religious education
