Abstract

Educational transformation is the main foundation in achieving the vision of the digital literacy generation. In the journey to achieve the nation's big dream, the key role of teachers is the main focus to realize it. This article highlights the importance of educational transformation as a strategic step in creating individuals who are intelligent, competitive, and ready to overcome various future challenges. The digital literacy generation is expected to be a pillar of a superior, cultured, and ethical society. Therefore, educational transformation does not only prioritize the provision of knowledge, but also the formation of character and skills that are essential for individual development and the progress of society. In the context of educational transformation, it is necessary to highlight that change must be sustainable, in accordance with the dynamics of the development of the times, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Education needs to shift from conventional teaching models to learning approaches that provide space for students to develop their potential and creativity. The ideals of educational development include aspects of culture, civilization, creativity, and strengthening the values of democracy, justice, and humanity.
