Transformasi Pendidikan Islam Al-Jamiah Baiturrahman Kesultanan Aceh Darussalam

Abstract

This research aims to describe the transformation of Islamic education at the Al-Jamiah Baiturrahman institution from the Sultanate of Aceh Darussalam which developed and became the center of civilization in Southeast Asia in the 16th or 17th century AD. education in Southeast Asia in the 16th or 17th century AD. The research method used is a qualitative literature study. The main references are three literatures that discuss the history of Islamic education in Aceh. Findings The findings of this research are the level of education during the sultanate of Aceh starting from meunasah, rangkang, dayah, dayah tengku chik, and Al-Jamiah Baiturrahman. The teachers at Al-Jamiah Baiturrahman did not only come from Acehnese Ulama, but also brought in 44 Ulama from the Middle East. also brought in 44 Ulama from the Middle East.
