Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the role of PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Mekaar Syariah in developing small businesses in Alue Punti village. This study is a type of qualitative research with data analysis techniques used in this study are as follows: 1. Collecting data on the financial management of PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Mekaar customers, 2. Obtaining a general overview of the research object and knowing the existing problems, 3. Analyzing data by describing the financial management policies of PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Mekaar Syariah customers. The informants in this study were divided into two, namely key informants consisting of 10 people and supporting informants consisting of 1 person. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research Capital provided by PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Mekaar Syariah has an influence on the development of small businesses in Alue Punti village where initially some of PNM's customers did not have any businesses at all and after PNM became a capital provider they were able to open businesses and develop existing underprivileged women's businesses. The capital provided by PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Mekaar Syariah to its customers is not only used for capital to open a business but also used to meet daily needs such as personal needs and school fees, this is not in accordance with the PNM Mekaar Syariah program. The impact of the Mekaar program by PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani is very large in developing Small Businesses in Alue Punti Village, both to start and develop businesses according to what is desired.
