Tarekat Sammaniyah: Benteng Terakhir Moralitas di Era Modern

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the relevance of the moral and ethical values of the Sammaniyah Tarekat in facing the moral crisis occurring in society today. The research results show that the moral and ethical values of the Sammaniyah Tarekat have quite high relevance in overcoming the moral crisis. These values include the formation of spiritual and moral character, strengthening spirituality and piety, balance in the world and the afterlife, example and moral development, as well as strengthening communal and social values. The Sammaniyah Order has also played a role in the moral, spiritual and social formation of society. However, this research also identified several challenges and obstacles in implementing the moral and ethical values of the Sammaniyah Tarekat, such as lack of public awareness, limited resources, internal conflict, lack of character education, changing times, lack of community involvement, and dependence on leaders. Thus, the results of this research indicate that the Sammaniyah Tarekat can be an effective alternative in overcoming the moral crisis in society today through instilling and transmitting strong religious values and having a positive impact.
