Abstract

Utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in supporting the distance learning process (PJJ) 
carried out by teachers after the Covid-19 pandemic. The main focus of the study analyzes various 
forms of AI implementation such as adaptive learning systems, educational chatbots, and 
automatic assessment tools that can help teachers manage virtual classes more effectively and 
efficiently. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth 
interviews with teachers from various levels of education who have implemented AI technology in 
their PJJ. The results of the analysis show that the application of AI can help teachers in various 
aspects such as personalization of learning, real-time monitoring of student progress, and 
automation of administrative tasks, so that teachers can focus more on pedagogical aspects and 
the development of quality learning content. The research findings indicate that despite challenges 
in terms of adaptation and digital literacy, the majority of teachers reported significant 
improvements in learning effectiveness and student engagement after integrating AI technology in 
PJJ. This study provides practical recommendations for educational institutions and policy makers 
regarding AI implementation strategies in distance learning systems, as well as the importance of 
continuous professional development for teachers in utilizing AI technology for education
