Pengembangan Kurikulum Dayah Cot Kala di Kerajaan Peureulak Aceh

Abstract

This research aims to complement the shortcomings of previous research and to discuss Dayah education in Aceh, namely Dayah Cotkala Pereulak, which played a very important role in forming the Religious Society.  Dayah Cotkala Pereulak succeeded in producing graduates who preached Islam throughout Aceh. In particular, the Dayah Cotkala Pereulak Curriculum uses Arabic Turats books. Dayah gave birth to ulama who played a role in the development of Aceh in particular and the archipelago in general. Dayah alumni have had a big influence on the spread of Islam throughout Aceh and its surroundings
