Abstract

This study aims to deeply investigate the processes and approaches required to transform the
dichotomous paradigm into an integrated approach to knowledge in Indonesian educational
institutions. The findings suggest that curriculum transformation, the development of innovative
learning models, faculty capacity enhancement, and infrastructure development are crucial steps
in achieving this goal. The implemented models of integrated knowledge in several Indonesian
educational institutions have shown positive results. However, there are still challenges to be
addressed, such as balancing various disciplines, ensuring adequate resources, and fostering a
culture of collaboration among academics. To achieve a broader and more sustainable integration
of knowledge, strong collaboration is needed among the government, educational institutions, and
society. The government should formulate policies supporting integration, allocate sufficient funds,
and provide incentives to educational institutions that successfully implement integrated models.
Educational institutions must be proactive in developing curricula, training faculty, and creating an
environment conducive to integrative learning. Society also plays a significant role in providing
support and feedback for the integration of knowledge efforts.
