Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in supporting the distance learning process (PJJ) used by teachers after the Covid-19 pandemic is increasingly massive. The main focus of the research analyzes various forms of AI implementation such as adaptive learning systems, educational chatbots, and automated assessment tools that can help teachers in managing virtual classrooms more effectively and efficiently. The research method uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with teachers from various levels of education who have applied AI technology in their PJJ. The results of the analysis show that the application of AI can help teachers in various aspects such as personalization of learning, real-time monitoring of student progress, and automation of administrative tasks, so that teachers can focus more on pedagogical aspects and the development of quality learning content. The findings of the study indicate that despite challenges in terms of digital adaptation and literacy, the majority of teachers reported significant improvements in learning effectiveness and student engagement after integrating AI technology in PJJ. This research provides practical recommendations for educational institutions and policymakers regarding AI implementation strategies in distance learning systems, as well as the importance of continuous professional development for teachers in utilizing AI technology for education
